RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Grow DSS business/sales in eCommerce segment via defining the biggest opportunities in the region, creating winning offer and winning new customers
- Lead an effective sales process for a specific product / service or customer
- Actively research and analyze data providing insights on the market and customers
- Identify, analyze and prioritize leads, and exercising sound commercial judgments on whether to pursue a sale
- Manage the new product development funnel via active collaboration with regional PackRight Centres and Design Departments to create successful packaging solutions for eCommerce
- Understand segment specific consumer and customer trends, packaging solutions and technologies (automation), have technical knowledge of products, to be able to address queries
- Use knowledge of customer’s needs to support design team in working up new concepts to respond to and proactively address customer issues
- Communicate clearly and confidently to customers in their preferred language, asking open, pertinent questions, effective in building customized offer
- Measuring and tracking the outcome of the plan or strategy, and revising plans and strategies to reflect outcomes and events
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- A higher vocational or university (ex. Packaging engineering) within packaging design & technology and/or management, supplemented with relevant professional training in sales and marketing
- Min 5+ years of experience in Packaging Industry or likewise in sales and/or technical department
- Able to manage (technically) larger projects towards customers
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently but also cooperate in the matrix organization
